QUESTION: What are your terms of payment?
ANSWER: We generally require progressive payments that are outlined in our letter of agreement. These progressive payments are determined by several milestones that occur during a production. Usually we will require 25% down to begin the project. Another 25% upon approval of a script or initial shooting. An additional 25% once you approve the offline edit of the project and then 25% upon delivery. Any further shooting and editing are extra and handled in a like manner. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express so the cost can be financed through a company or personal credit card.

QUESTION: Do you travel?
ANSWER: Yes, we travel anywhere within the United States. All travel expenses are figured in as part of the cost of your production unless client prefers to expense the travel, lodging and meals seperately.

QUESTION: Do you make video for the internet?
ANSWER: Yes. We can encode video into many different digital formats which work for internet applications. The production of an internet compatible video is similar to the production of any other video. There are some things to be cautious of and we will help you with those issues.

QUESTION: Do you perform duplication or transfer services?
ANSWER: Our duplication facilities are primarily for our clients. If we made the video, we will duplicate it at a competitive rate depending on the number of copies you order. If a third party has made the video, we must make sure we are not violating any copyright issues. We will transfer VHS, 8mm, Mini-DV and DVCAM to DVD at $24.95 per disc or less depending on how many copies you order.

ANSWER: Our experience in the field of Audio/Video production extends back to 1977. Most of the those years were spent in Radio/TV commercial/professional productions. Sands Media Productions was formed in 1999.

QUESTION: What type of equipment do you use?
ANSWER: We shoot primarily with Canon HDV cameras and perform non-linear editing on Premiere Pro. We also have a full range of field equipment to meet your needs, including wireless mics, lighting, etc.
